Q. I registered, but cannot log-in

A. Once registered; you will be sent an e-mail confirmation containing a link that you must follow before your account will be activated. This step is required to cut down on all illegitimate registrations attempts which result in our community being plagued with SPAM and unwanted members. If you did not receive this email or are still having problems verifying your account email us with your user name and the e-mail address you registered with and we can investigate further.

Q. Is adding my studio to the Studio Space free?

A. Yes, registering your studio is 100% free! Studio Auditions, specifically the Studio Space section, was developed to provide studios and people in the recording industry the opportunity to showcase their studio and services to other members and also network with other studios and potential customers. This area also gives members who do not have a current website the ability to showcase their studio on the web.

Q. How do I add my studio to the Studio Space section on Studio Auditions?

A. In order to add your studio, you must first be a registered member of Studio Auditions.

Registration is 100% free! Once registered, you will need to log in. After log-in, you can click on the "Studio Space" tab in the main navigation menu. This will bring you to a list of all registered studios. In the sub-navigation menu you can click on the "Submit Your Studio" tab. This will take you to your studio insert page where you can follow the on-screen instructions and fill out all of your studios information. We review all studios submitted so it can take up to 24 hours before you see your studio live.

Q. How can I make my studio a featured studio?

A. We want to give every studio the opportunity to be featured on the Studio Auditions home page. This is some great exposure but we have some requirements. 1) Your studio must have all information fields (studio info, engineer info, gear info, client list, services, etc) filled out 2) Your studio must have all three pictures uploaded 3) Your studio must have at least one sound clip added. If or when your studio meets these requirements let us know and you will be added to the rotation.

Q. Why can't I see my studio?

A. All new Studio's are first subject to approval by Studio Auditions. We do this to insure the content provided is appropriate for our website. In doing so, we can maintain a higher quality site, for everyone to enjoy. Please allow up to 24 hours before you see your studio live.

Q. How do I change my studio information?

A. You can edit your studio information by first logging in to your account. Once there and in the main navigation menu at the top of the page, click on the "Studio Space" tab. This will bring you to a list of all registered studios. In the sub-navigation menu click on the "Edit Your Studio" tab. Here you will see a list of sub-menus highlighted in red. By clicking on the appropriate menu you can edit each section of your studio.

Q. How do I change my e-mail address?

A. Once logged in you can click on the "Edit Account" tab in the sub-navigation menu.

From here you can change all information related to your account. You will see a column on the left side of the page. Select "Edit E-mail and Password" and make your changes Remember to click the save changes tab at the bottom of page.

Q. How do I change my member profile information?

A. Once logged in you can click on the "Edit Account" tab in the sub-navigation menu.

Q. How do I post a review of a product I own?

A. Once logged in to Studio Auditions click on the "Gear Reviews" tab in the main navigation menu. Once there, click on the "Submit New User Review" tab in the sub-navigation menu. You will be taken to a data input page where you can enter the information about your product. Once done, click on the submit tab at the bottom of the page. All reviews submitted are subject to approval before becoming active on Studio Auditions. We do this to insure any content is appropriate for our website. Please allow 24 hours before you see your review on Studio Auditions.

Q. I would like you to review a product for me. How do I request this?

A. You can request a product review by clicking on "Gear Reviews" in the main navigation menu.

Next, click on the "Request Review" tab in the sub-navigation menu. Here you can submit a review request. Be sure to click on the submit tab at the bottom of page when finished.

Q. Why isn't my classified ad showing up?

A. All classified ads are first subject to approval by Studio Auditions before being posted. We do this to insure the content is appropriate for our website. Please allow some time before seeing your classified add on Studio Auditions.

 

 

Q.I am trying to view the Jam Room Sessions, but it is not working, why?

A. The Jam Room Session require Flash to be installed on your computer. Please update your system with the most current Flash version and enjoy! If you are still having problems email us and we will help you figure out what the problem is.

 

 

Q. My audio clips are not showing up on my studio page. What is going on?

A. If your audio clips are not showing on your studio page, then you will need to check a couple of things. First, you will need to insure the file size is not too big. Maximum allowance is currently 4883KB. Second, you will need to insure the file name does not include any punctuation. Any punctuation will cause the file to read incorrectly and thus not post. If this still does not resolve your problem email us with the name of your studio and the clip.
