With three Emmy wins, a professionally tuned studio, an engineer/producer with decades of experience, you can't go wrong!

Studio 132 is an intimate, cooperative, and creative facility with a focus on quality. We record bands of all genres, singer/songwriters, rappers, instrumentalists, and voiceovers- all with the goal of getting warmth and "phat" sounds into our mixes. With the help of our sister company popTuna, we compose music and sound design for film, TV, video, websites, and ringtones. Our mixes have been heard in record stores everywhere, on all the major networks, platinum selling video games, national and regional ad campaigns, independent full length feature films, and scores of documentary films. This year we're celebrating our 12th year anniversary.

Some of the studio's claim to fame includes MTV's shows about BECK, BLINK 182, JANET JACKSON, and BRITNEY SPEARS.

Studio 132's Engineer Info

B.Z. Lewis grew up in his father's home studio in a small town in west Texas. B.Z. remembers being 7 years old and duplicating tapes for his father's daily radio program "The Sound of Texas", spooling 1/4 inch tapes on an Ampex reel to reel machine. It wasn't long before the studio/music bug crept into his life. About the same time, he started playing piano and later developed a love for guitar. He attended an audio engineering school in Texas, and received his B.A. in music with an emphasis on classical guitar from the University of Texas at Austin where he was honored as one of the best guitarists in the state of Texas by Texas Beat Magazine.

He set out for California in '93 to work on a film that launched his career, and in '96 he started recording bands out of his home. The following year he moved the studio to it's current location, where he has been the main engineer for ten years.

Currently B.Z. is an ASCAP member writer and publisher, a voting member of for the grammys, a three time Emmy winner, and is enjoying a publishing deal with Media Creature Music in L.A.
