This venture began in 2006 after being sought out by a number of RiffWorks users who had started recording but really had no idea how to track and mix properly. They usually start out just having fun, then decide to go to the next level producing demo's, CD's etc. but don't understand how to get the sound they are looking for or who to go to for help.

Through the internet we are able to exchange files, work on mixes, master etc. with the goal that "next time" they should have a lot more knowledge and be able to accomplish their goal of "Doing It Yourself."

We offer a number of services primarily for users of Sonoma Wire Works "RiffWorks" software, including mixing, mastering, track importing, pitch correction etc. We do other projects such as recording backing tracks, voiceovers, remixing, etc. with more traditional DAW software (Tracktion and Cubase).

"J.J. the Gator" is the main engineer of Gator-Studios.com. Gator has been playing music for 35 years and was schooled under the wing of some great engineers in Atlanta. He is widely known in the RiffWorks community as a leading master of the product and engineer for several CD projects born out of RiffWorks software. Gator is the swiss army knife of cost-efficient studio post-production!
